Since 1999,
the mission of Post the Finances has been to
promote fiscal honesty, responsibility, and
accountability at all levels of our
government. This is to be accomplished by a
grass-roots campaign at local, county,
state, and federal levels, urging all
government agencies to post all their
finances to their respective web sites
daily.

Post the Finances
aims to reach every legislator in the nation at
local, county, state, and federal levels, by means
of e-mail, letter, telephone and other campaigns,
including publicity through the broadcast media, to
alert them to the necessity of Post the Finances.
Post the Finances also aims to educate citizens
about the tremendous advantages that will accrue
from having government finances readily available on
the Web for perusal by tax-paying citizens. The
campaign hopes to ignite a wave of popular opinion
in favor of this measure and have it adopted by
high-profile politicians and officials across the
nation.
